Ellen Agger, the woman behind Tammachat, emailed us to say she and her business partner Alleson Kase will be returning to Southeast Asia at the end of November for four months of scouting, learning, and choosing the best items to bring back to Canada.

The more they sell before the trip, she says, the more they can afford to buy from the weaving groups and provide income for those women. It seems to us that they run a very hands-on organization with solid ethical street cred.
