The Most Inspirational Personal Style Websites

We’ve come across a number of websites recently that are devoted to sharing personal style. These are real people, not models styled by fashion editors, which we think is what makes the tips so inspirational (and useful!).
Some of the best ones we’ve found so far:
- Lookbook.nu — Users can sort its trove of street-fashion photos by gender and award “hype” to favorite ensembles.
- Chictopia – Find photos, DIY tips, and reviews of the style quotient of everything from old college sweatshirts to Burberry trench coats.
- StyleDiary – The original style-yourself site, StyleDiary has an extensive collection of user-generated photos that cover every conceivable trend.
- The Sartorialist – Photographer and fashion insider Scott Schuman travels the world to collect snapshots of people on the street with impeccable style, be it classic or edgy.
- The Fashion Spot’s Sidewalk Cafe — Check out the galleries of street style by genre, such as Vintage, Scandinavian, or Off the Catwalk.
