Great Business Idea: Personal Thrift Shoppers

Today’s Daily Candy email featured a neat service in Los Angeles for men and women who have a taste for vintage but no patience for digging through thrift shops.

Inform personal shoppers Aja Daashuur, Lucy Michel, and Shannon Jett of your style (looking for old-school glamourous dresses? Boho tunics? Menswearish blazers or vests?).

They’ll put together a selection of their best vintage finds from an assortment of boutiques in the city. They deliver the goods to your home where you can try things on in privacy and buy what you like.

The trio will also accompany you during a day in the trenches if you care to learn their tricks of the trade.

We can’t help but think this would be a great business opportunity in other cities as well. Who wouldn’t want one-of-a-kind fashion finds without having to give up an afternoon inhaling the scent of mothballs and stale perfume?
